GLOBAL YOUTH CASE COMPETITION
HEADLINING COMPETITIONS FOR GLOBAL PROGRESS.
Whether addressing income inequality, climate change, education inequity or any other pressing global issue, the UNESCO Global Youth Case Competition will be focused on giving youth the ability to add their viewpoint to a growing network of policy solutions through an online platform engaging students from all over the globe. This platform is aimed at activating global youth “changemakers”. With 373 international NGOs, 24 foundations, 87 IGOs, and numerous private sector partners currently within the UNESCO network, competitors will construct innovative solutions to specific social and civic problems aimed activating existing resources. Finalists will be chosen for to compete at the annual U.S. UNESCO Youth Summit where they will further test their ideas amongst others. The YWG will the work with the winners there from to put to ideas into action by connecting them with partners and resources in the UNESCO network.
